Notes: A lovely work that appears to be inspired by Montesquieu''s 18th century literary masterpiece "Les Lettres Persanes." The plates are lavishly printed in gold leaf and highlighted with pochoir coloring, while the black and embossed detailing is achieved by woodblock.
