Quarto, title page to OT in large woodcut compartment with a heart-shaped center panel; same compartment used for divisional title to NT; divisional title for the Concordances; lacking one text leaf in the NT; bound in full 18th century diced russia tooled in blind with a hefty central brass clasp and large square catch plate, all edges gilt, neatly rebacked, corners repaired; two text leaves quite dirty and ragged along fore-edge; some stains and other signs of use to contents; headlines cropped with loss, fore-edges cropped with loss in Concordance; early inscriptions of members of the Hodgson, Hooper and Remington families scattered throughout the text; 8 1/4 x 6 1/4 in.
