- Notes: young's first bible and only the second small format bible in English with both the Old and New Testaments published in America (preceded by the Aitkin bible of 1782). This copy the issue without the metrical psalms sometimes found bound in the rear [see next lot]. Although dated on both the Old and New Testament title pages as 1790, Evans asserts the actual printing date to be 1789. Hills 25; Evans 22345; Sabin 5168.
