12mo, contemporary calf, worn, backstrip chipped with loss; title-page torn, dampstaining, H5 and M2 defective, a few other leaves chipped or with edge tears; early owner's inscriptions. Trenton: Collins, 1782
- Notes: scarce early new testament printed in new jersey. The first New Testament printed in New Jersey appeared in 1779 published by Collins. This edition is essentially the same, but with corrected pagination. Hills lists a 1780 printing by Collins as well (based solely on a reference in Nelson's Check-List of the Issues of the Press of New Jersey), but no copy has been located. Thus, this is likely the second New Testament printed in New Jersey. Although this copy appears to be trimmed, it is larger than the one recorded by Hills, this copy measuring 160x95 mm. Hills locates only the copy at Yale; OCLC locates none. Not listed in Evans or Bristol. Hills 13; Felcone 16 (note).
