Ruled in red throughout. 17 parts in 8 volumes. 16mo, 109x70 mm, 17th-century red morocco gilt-tooled to panel design with crossed scepters in center of covers, expertly rebacked retaining original backstrips by Bernard Middleton, varying wear to cover corners; early monastic ownership inscription imperfectly erased or pasted over on titles, contents otherwise generally quite clean.
