- Notes: Bierstadt is considered one of the finest of the Hudson School painters and his depictions of the West have endeared him to generations. His large format prints rarely come to auction. The Domes of Yosemite is the scarcest of his prints dealing with Yosemite and one of the scarcest of his large format prints.
