BILL BAILEY RINGLING BROS AND BARNUM & BAILEY / BAND WAGON. 1943
A full brass band in blue uniform is playing in the back of a white carriage with gold trim and red, white and blue patriotic emblems, drawn by a team of white horses. In the inset the band's leader, Merle Evans, is pictured in his white and gold uniform; lettering in red against a yellow background. Evans was the bandmaster and leader of the circus band for over 50 years.
