(BLACK MEMORABILIA.) For Our Missions. Painted plaster statuette collection bank in the form of a young black girl holding a seashell into which donations were dropped, 13x4 1/2x7 1/2 inches, with a swivel head nounted to the figures with 2 iron prongs; very minor wear. Boston: da Prato, circa 1900
- Notes: Curous survival. The young woman's head would bob when a coin was dropped into the bank, as if she were nodding thank you in acknowledgement.
