Detroit, 1962-71 Volume 1 of Muhammad Speaks was issued monthly. Included from Volume 1 are Numbers 8 and 13 (June 1962 and August 1963). Beginning with Volume 2, the paper was issued semi-monthly. From Volume 2, the numbers present are 1-4, 6-9, 11, 14-17, 20-22, and 25-26. Volume 3, Numbers 1-14, and 16-26. Volume 4, Numbers 1-9. On 30 January 1965 Muhammad Speaks began weekly issues. Those present include: Volume 4, Number 1-15, 17-19, 22, 24, 25, 27-43. Volume 5 includes Numbers 2-5, 7-21, 23-26, 28-41, and 43-52. Volume 6 includes Numbers 1-20, 22-50, and 52.
