  • Notes: James Forman, author of the 1969 "Black Manifesto" which called for reparations, served as the executive secretary of the International Black Workers Congress. This manifesto was first drafted in advance of their inaugural conference to be held in Detroit in August 1971. It features 32 objectives, 13 "1971 program objectives" including a detailed fund-raising policy, 6 "methods of carrying out revolutionary work," and more. Forman and his fellow leaders are not named here. One example of this printing in OCLC.
