Painted on offset printed paper, Bob Thompson often drew or painted directly onto the pages of art reproductions to make studies for his oil paintings. Thompson painted a number of scenes depicting the mythology of the Trojan War in 1964 including The Judgment of Paris in the collection of the Munson-Williams-Proctor Institute Museum of Art, Utica, NY.
