BODIE Walford (Samuel Murphy BRODIE 1869-1939). The Great [Bodie]. Nine-sheet color lithograph; linen-backed. 117x87 1/4 inches (297x221.5 cm). Few closed tears with over-coloring. A magician is elegantly dressed in white. He levitates a beautiful woman while he conjures forth a female spirit. The magician MAURITUS took the liberty of taking this Bodie poster for his own promotion by applying an overslip on top of Bodie's name. Overslip is probably removable. Moody Bros. Birmingham.
