Paris: Booster, (1938) E800/1,200 INSCRIBED TO SACKHEIM: "-an historic moment in my life as an author! Henry Miller 3/20/73" Ezra Pound wrote Miller asking him if he had ever thought about money what makes it, and how it got that way (from the Foreword). Subsequently Money was written and dedicated to Pound. The "historic moment" Miller refers to occurred upon his learning in the early Seventies that a first edition copy of Money fetched $200-250 in the rare book market. He had peddled them at 15 francs apiece.
