East Aurora: Roycroft, 1896 E1,500/2500 ONE OF ONLY TWENTY-SIX NUMBERED COPIES ON VELLUM. This is numbered "3" and initialed by Elbert Hubbard. This copy with HAND- PAINTED COLOR VIGNETTES, INCLUDING AT LEAST ONE BY W.W. DENSLOW, which is Signed by him below the image along with a contemporary note(Hubbard's?) on title indicating that the book is illustrated by him.There are, however, a few accomplished vignettes of flowers initialed"M.G." and "B.C.H" It is likely that the first four designs are by Denslow as they are in a similar style.
