Working specimen album collected by the family of Mr. W.A. Myrick compiling over 200 different mounted American plant pressings, most with affixed labels or captions variously dated 1890-1937 and many marked with places of origin from Oregon to New Mexico to Long Island.

Np, circa 1850s through the early twentieth century
Folio of 73 leaves, 12x9¾ inches, nineteenth-century half calf with morocco label blocked "Ellen Westervelt" in gilt to the upper cover, moderate wear; foxing and organic discoloration, specimens with occasional breaks and chipping but generally well preserved. 


With: William Herman Dietrich Meier, Herbarium and Plant Description, completed by high school freshman Grace O'Hara April-May 1911. Ginn and Company plain cloth portfolio, 11x9½ inches, containing the title as front pastedown, term leaf, and 23 (of 25) double-page leaves with mounted plant specimens and manuscript description by Miss O'Hara.
