T.W.A. airplane in hangar. Silver print, 91/2x131/4 inches (24.2x33.5 cm.), with Bourke-White's signature and inscription on mount recto; framed. 1935
this print was formerly in the collection of ina and gerald corkum, who were featured in a Fortune magazine article, entitled "Success Story," illustrated by Bourke-White. (A photostatic copy of the article accompanies the lot.) Her inscription reads: "To the Corkums, My most hospitable photographic subjects."
