Archive containing approximately 120 photographs of caterpillars, praying manti, larvae, and other entomological wonders, along with 10 photographs of eastern European cities and the countryside. Silver prints, 11x14 to 3 1/2x4 1/2 inches (27.9x35.6 to 8.9x11.4 cm.) and the reverse, 3 with Bourke-White's hand stamp and many with numeric notations, in pencil, on verso. Circa 1939
- Notes: Before Catherine Chalmers there was Bourke-White, who devoted herself to entomological research with a passion equal to that shown in her industrial studies.
