Among the women listed are Sevilla Low Brown, the "First Negro Woman Recording Technician," Laura Wheeler Waring, Artist, and Sadie Tanner Mosell Alexander. The latter, married to the noted Philadelphia attorney, Daniel Payne Alexander, was herself an attorney, and director of the Urban League.
