New York, 1916

  • Notes: Strand's "New York [Wall Street]," "Telegraph Poles," and 4 photogravures entitled "New York" * Lewis's "Winter" * Bruguiere's "A Portrait" * and 6 halftones after photographs by Stieglitz of exhibition "arrangements" at 291; lacking Eugene's "The Cat."
  • Condition: The volume is in very good condition. The covers are bumped at the edges, with losses and small tears, which is quite typical for Camera Work editions. There is a pencil notation on the front cover stating "Plate Missing?" and the volume is lacking Eugene's "The Cat." The spine is loose, but none of the pages are detached. The plates are in very good to excellent condition.
