Etching and drypoint, 1888. 100x61 mm; 4x2 1/2 inches, full margins. Second state (of 7), before the strengthening of the contours of the figures and the additional shading. One of only 2 known proofs in this early state, from a total lifetime edition of approximately only 17 in all 7 states combined. Signed, titled and inscribed "2e état— no. 2" in pencil, lower margin. With an authentication inscription and signed by Georges Henri Manzana Pissarro, the artist's son, in pencil, verso. A very good impression of this extremely scarce etching. Delteil 77.
