First collected edition; two works in one thick quarto volume with divisional title pages; a nicely preserved copy in original limp parchment, unrestored; fore-edge ties lost; presented to John Lord Mountstuart (1744-1814), British ambassador to Spain, in 1790 from an unnamed Portuguese nobleman with a later note to that effect dated 1880 by Mountstuart's grandson; loss to a few lines of text to bottom outside corner of one leaf in the second book of the Rimas; both original blanks present; 7 1/2 x 5 1/8 in.
