Thick octavo bound in contemporary limp parchment; spine torn, becoming decased, textblock and sewing in good condition; contents clean, Aldine anchor to first title, final leaf blank and present, neat ink inscription to first title, faint water staining to first few leaves, 6 x 4 in.

Campegius, also known as Tommaso Campeggi, served the Catholic church as Bishop of Feltre, Italy from 1520 until 1559. He was sent by Paul III as nuncio to the Colloquy of Worms in 1540 and was one of the three bishops present at the opening of the Council of Trent in 1545.
