(CARICATURE.) Williams, Edward. Untitled volume containing pen-and-ink caricatures and poems, all in the hand of Edward Williams, a talented if obscure Englishman in mid-19th century England. 43 leaves. Folio, original cloth, defective; contents loose. England, 1846
- Notes: Volume entirely in the hand of Williams, with fine caricature studies and poems. The literary material all executed in a very fine calligraphic hand and apparently authored by Williams. 19 of the leaves have fine caricature studies, while the remaining volume consists of poems and epigrams by Williams. The text leaves are embellished on occasion with drawings of butterflies. should be seen.
