(Genoa 1754-1815 Genoa) Two Saints in Adoration of the Virgin and Child Pen and brown ink and gray wash heightened with white over black chalk on blue laid paper. 440x330 mm; 17x13 inches. Squared in black chalk for transfer. Tre Lune watermark with the letters PG countermark. The design was likely a finished study for a painting commissioned for an altarpiece in the church, seen in the lower background, dedicated to the two saints.
