Folio-format single unnumbered leaf in Caxton's fourth font (the first state with the short comma), used here for the first time, printed on laid paper with a watermark, single column, forty lines, with capital strokes and one three-line capital added by hand in red, the sheet smudged with some spotting; the text with the end of chapter 201 and the beginning of chapter 202 (with rubricated capital), likely leaf m5; the leaf housed in a specially printed portfolio signed by the publisher; with Jackson's essay copy number 52 of 100 signed by Jackson on the limitation page and housed in publisher's portfolio, bound in full pigskin (spine dry and flaking), the leaf 11 1/8 x 8 1/4 in.; ex libris Boies Penrose, with bookplate; the portfolio 12 3/4 x 9 1/2 in.
