Perry County, Missouri, 1859 E350/500 UNCONDITIONAL MANUMISSION of the slave Wesley: "Know all men by these pre-sent, that I Celia E. Nance, for good causes and consideration have emancipated, manumitted and set free my negro man, Wesley of yellow or mulatto color, now about 48 years of age and heretofore has been a slave. I do hereby in vest him so far as I lawfully can with the rights, privileges, and immunities of a free man."
