Etching and engraving on chine-collé, 1852. 261x187 mm; 10 1/4x7 1/4 inches, wide margins. Fourth or fifth state (of 10), with the artist's initials upper right and with the border lines at the sides reinforced almost to the upper part of the plate, but before the inscriptions in the lower margin. A brilliant, early impression with all the details printing clearly and with warm plate tone. Schneiderman 23.
