- Notes: number 9 of 100 copies of the regular edition, with a set of two wood engravings laid in. An additional full size signed drawing of the raven, a Signed state proof, and a Signed portrait of Poe are laid in. Robinson produced this sumptuous first book using 19th-century methods of handmade inks, papers, and glue, hand-set type, and hand-marbling. Considered by some critics to be one of the finest examples of letterpress printing and illustration of poetry created in the last fifty years.
