  • Notes: scarce second annual report of the naacp, founded in 1910 by a group of reformers led by W.E.B. Du Bois, Mary White Ovington, Moorfield Storey, Oswald Garrison Villard and a group of ministers, the purpose of the association was "To uplift the colored men and women of this country by securing for them the full enjoyment of their rights as citizens, justice in all courts, and equality of opportunity everywhere." We could find no copy of this, or any of the first 5 years of annual reports.
