  • Notes: A call to join the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom, framed as an appeal from James Farmer, Martin Luther King, John Lewis, A. Philip Randolph, Roy Wilkins, and Whitney Young. It lays out the demands of the marchers. We have seen a half-sized version with abbreviated text, and a variant printing of this text issued by the Philadelphia CORE office. This one is distinguished by the names of march organizers Cleveland Robinson and Bayard Rustin at bottom.
