(CIVIL RIGHTS.)--KING, CORETTA SCOTT. Help End Demonstrations.

(CIVIL RIGHTS.)--KING, CORETTA SCOTT. Help End Demonstrations. Poster, 22x15-3/4 inches. New York, 1968

  • Notes: An uncommon poster for the twin parade down New York City's Fifth Avenue. This Anti-War Rally was supposed to have been led by Martin Luther King Jr. However, an assassin's bullet took Dr. King's life on April 4. Instead, only three weeks later on April 27th, his widow Corretta Scott King read a speech that her husband had prepared called the "Ten Commandments of Viet Nam," and afterward led an enormous crowd down Fifth Avenue.
