  • Notes: A historical pictorial document in which each of the pictures is carefully identified or captioned in a calligraphic hand. The tonality of most of the photographs is extraordinarily rich, with portraits of political and military notables, scenes of Yorktown, Ft. Corcoran, Ft. Pulaski, Gloucester, Georgetown and other important sites.
