  • Notes: These orders were issued to Acting Master Alfred L.B. Zerega of the USS Antona, a steamer on blockade duty in the Gulf of Mexico. Printed naval orders are much less frequently seen than Army orders. with--an incomplete run of 39 disbound naval general orders, most signed in type by Gideon Welles, 1863-5.
