  • Notes: Features telegraphic reports on Sherman's march, and of the Confederate resolution which authorized the recruitment of slaves to work on military fortifications. Also advertises an estate sale of a local blacksmith's property, including "Negro man Orange, a good blacksmith" and "Minie, striker and good field hand." No other copies of this issue are known, per the Library of Congress and WorldCat.
