Clarence Morgan is a painter from Minneapolis, an artist and professor of art at the University of Minnesota who has exhibited extensively nationally. He works extensively within a grid format in the abstract idiom; his paintings are known for a strong sense of color and a complexity of mark making. Clarence Morgan''s art works are in many public and private collections such as the Frederick Weisman Art Museum, Minneapolis Institute of Art and the Walker Art Center, Minneapolis.
