Clarence Morgan is a painter from Minneapolis, an artist and professor of art at the University of Minnesota who has exhibited nationally. He works within a grid format in the abstract idiom; his paintings are known for a strong sense of color and a complexity of mark making. Morgan's artworks are in many public and private collections such as the Frederick Weisman Art Museum, Minneapolis Institute of Art and the Walker Art Center, Minneapolis.
