SIGNER CLYMER, GEORGE. Autograph Letter Signed, twice ("GeoClymer" and in the third person within the text), to the Justices of the Orphans Court, requesting that a ruling be made with respect to the partition of property in the estate of his deceased daughter Margaret [who died in infancy] because his [eponymously named] infant daughter Margaret is too young to exercise judgment in the matter. 2 pages, 4to, written on the recto and verso of a single sheet; faint toning along horizontal folds. "The petition of George Clymer, the Guardian of his Daughter Margaret, Showeth, That your petitioner's said daughter, together with a certain Sarah Sharpe, of Bristol in Great Britain, are the residuary legatees of the deceased Margaret Clymer.
"That one of the parties being an infant and the other residing beyond sea as aforesaid, your petitioner apprehends that a partition of the residuary property of the said estate cannot be rightfully made . . . ."
