(CRIME.) Group of 3 wanted posters for 1930s "gun molls." Each 8 x 8 inches; minor wear and soiling, closed tear to Conforti poster; Gillis and Conforti postmarked in Birmingham, AL and addressed to sheriff in Iuka, MS, Kelly printed on verso but not addressed. Washington, DC, 1933-34

  • Notes: The three suspects were Helen Gillis (wife of Baby Face Nelson, named as an accomplice of John Dillinger), Kathryn Thorne Kelly (wife of Machine Gun Kelly; J. Edgar Hoover described her as "one of the most coldly deliberate criminals of my experience"), and Marie Conforti (partner of Dillinger associate Homer Van Meter).
