CUNARD, NANCY. Poems (Two) 1925.
CUNARD, NANCY. Poems (Two) 1925. 4to, original orange and cream patterned boards designed by Elliot Seabrooke, moderate overall soiling and upper outer corners bent with faint residual crease. first edition. one of 150 copies; this copy out-of-series, not signed by Cunard. London: The Aquilla Press Limited, 1930
- Notes: with--typed copy of "simultaneous" signed by cunard, with 5 corrections. This is the first poem in Poems (Two) 1925. Three loose 8vo sheets, previously stapled. Three of the corrections are minor but one alters the original 40th line from "Cools at the sill, yeasts raise his auburn flour" to "yeast raising auburn flour." In line 47 she corrects the spelling of the word "orgu[e]illeux" by adding the e, but it never made it into the published work. Signed "Nancy Cunard 1925" in pencil, at end.
