Large folio hand-colored lithograph featuring a horse-drawn sleigh pulling a farmer, his son, and four large milk cans along a snowy road; youth are seen in the background, some at leisure, others at work with chores. 19 1/4x25 3/4 inches sheet size; fine colors with touches of gum arabic; minor toning at sheet edges and a few scant spots of foxing but overall a lovely example; exhibited, and with label: "Currier & Ives: Best Fifty Revisited", Milwaukee Art Museum, 1990; New Best 50 Large Folio No. 8.
