First edition, folio; copy number 53 of 55 (of which 50 were for sale) signed by Cy DeCosse, John Wood, Sheila Metzner, John Stevenson, Susan Ludvigson, Scott Ely, Morri Creech and Carol Wood in black ink on the limitation page; with seven hand-pulled photogravures by Jon Goodman with tissue guards, and 43 tritone plates exquisitely printed by Trifolio from separations by Robert J. Hennessey; original half green morocco stamped in black, grey endpapers; contained in the original custom green cloth clamshell box; 15 x 13 in. 

[Together with] Limited edition additional portfolio including 7 separate versions of photogravures: King of the Night, Sunflower, Fritillaria, Cultured Pearl, Flowers & Dill, Water Lily, Tuscan Lemons, each numbered 47/50 and signed by DeCosse in pencil at the lower margin; all housed in the original green cloth clamshell box; 13 1/2 x 15 in. 

A breathtaking collection of flower and plant photography: "DeCosse is a master at making some frozen moment ambered in photography's fixing gaze seem to be alive and vital with movement."
