Honolulu April 29th, 1932." The Hornes were Darrow's hosts while he was in Hawaii during the Massie trial. Also with a lengthy inscription to Horne from chief defendant Lt. Thomas Massie on the page opposite the half-title. Signed by Horne on the front free endpaper as Vice Admiral. Laid-in --A Typed Letter Signed, from Darrow's wife, Ruby, to the Hornes.
