- Notes: Delaney (1904-1991) studied figure drawing with George Bridgeman, one of the best-known anatomy artists of his day, and with Thomas Hart Benton at the Art Student League. He had his first exhibition in 1936 with the Federal Art Project. Today his work is hung in dozens of major institutions.
