WHITE STAR LINE / DE LUXE ATLANTIC SERVICES. Circa 1925.

31¾x18 inches, 80½x45¾ cm. The Monarch Poster Co., Brooklyn.
Condition B: tears, creases, abrasions and minor losses at edges; abrasions and discoloration in margins and image. Silkscreen on board, as issued.

Built in 1914 as the Bismarck, the S.S. Majestic, then joined the White Star Line and made its maiden voyage in 1922- not to be confused with the first R.M.S Majestic, which only had two funnels and was retired in 1912. The Majestic was the world's largest ship until 1935, when it was surpassed by the Normandie. The International Mercantile Marine Company owned the White Star Line until 1927 and American Transport line until 1931.
