Condition B+ / B: bleach spots throughout image; repaired tears at edges, some into image; creases, abrasions and restoration in margins and image and along horizontal folds.
The Victorian, built in 1905 was the first turbine-propelled, triple-screw liner to work the Atlantic crossing. In 1914, she was commandeered into military service for the First World War, serving as an armed merchant cruiser. In 1917, the Allan Line merged with Canadian Pacific. This is the English version.
