By all accounts the man who brought Charles Mather the idea for work incentive posters (and indeed the man who wrote their copy) was Charles Howard Rosenfeld. He worked with Mather for two years before branching out on his own to market a series of work incentive cards intended for display on small easels on desks. They are essentially Mather posters in miniature, with similar messages, equally as appealing graphics and clearly the same attention paid to their high-quality printing.
