  • Notes: With-- Group of 5 pieces of printed ephemera, unsigned: sheet of 20 "Duke Kahanamoku" 37-cent postage stamps bearing 5 first-day-of-issue postmarks from Honolulu dated August 24, 2002. 7½x6¾ inches * First Day Cover with cachet commemorating Duke Paoa Kahanamoku showing three scenes with surfers, with one of the stamps described above cancelled on the same date. 4x9½ inches * First Day Cover with cachet commemorating Kahanamoku and the Hawaiian Philatelic Society, with same stamp and cancellation. 3½x6½ inches * Description of the above stamps printed by the U.S. Postal Service at Honolulu. 11x11 inches * Greeting card featuring image of Kahanamoku standing in front of his surfboard. 8vo.
