Franklin edited the work extensively for his colonial audience, and added a few new features such as short histories of the colonies under "A Short Account of the British Plantations" (pages 334-337) and his own "Advice to a Young Tradesman, Written by an Old One" (pages 375-377, here defective), filled with distinctive Franklin aphorisms: "Remember that Time is Money. . . . Remember that Credit is Money. . . . Money can beget Money, and its Offspring can beget more." Evans 6238; Miller 439.
