    Originally published as 6 separate tracts from 1748 to 1759. The sixth essay discusses mulberry trees and silk production. Some drawbacks of the slave economy are discussed on page 140. The author was a grandson of the famed missionary John Eliot. Manuscript recipes include "An Indian Cure for a Wounded Eye," "A Cooling Ointment Good in Many Cases," and "To Cure a Cow's Chapt Teats." Evans 8590; Sabin 22136. None traced at auction since 1997.
