  • Notes: first edition. A biography which also includes a long bibliography of Mather's works, and two ad leaves soliciting subscriptions for Mather's massive Biblia Americana (which is only just now in 2011 being published). The original owner was Grafton Feveryeare, whose mellifluous name appears on the subscriber list, and whose signature graces the title page. Evans 3188; Howes M409 ("aa"); Sabin 46799.
